why am i asking strangers to tell me their stories?


i'm looking for people from all walks of life who want to share their life story (anonymously) in a one-on-one conversation with me.

my goal is simple: to understand who you are, what has shaped the way you see the world, and your point of view; with no judgement.


the world can feel like a scary place, and in an era dominated by algorithms and ai, i'm proposing another approach: listening beyong the surface, expanding our worldview the human way: no screens, slowly, with curiousity and care, one conversation at a time.

your story will become part of a collective portrait of what it actually means to be human. shaped by you and 99 other participants. together, your voices will not only give people a chance to sit with different perspectives and ideologies but also shine a light on the shared humanity that connects us all.

there's no better place to do this than New York City.

what happens after you sign up?

  • we meet in a public space of your choice, we walk together, and have an audio-recorded conversation; how much you share is up to you.
  • the encounter is voluntary and anonymous. we can stop at any point.
  • the conversation is unstructured, guided by my curiosity, and shaped by the level of trust that naturally unfolds.
  • the goal is 100 strangers from all walks of life
  • the collection of conversations will be developed into a digital archive and public installation where others can listen to your story.

help me bring my art to life:

art has always existed as a way to make meaning of our lives, to document our time, and to create rituals that help us understand who we are. It gives form to what is difficult to make sense of or vocalize.

conscious intervention lives inside that tradition. it is a collective performance art piece built through encounters with strangers across difference. each conversation becomes part of a larger body of work that seeks to piece together a clearer picture of our world.

this work rejects the idea that one perspective can hold the entirety of the human experience. Instead, it is built from many voices. Every participant shapes the piece in real time, not as a subject or an observer, but as a co-creator whose story carries equal weight in the whole.

the art emerges through participation, and your willingness to show up and be vulnerable with a stranger. the encounter itself is the magic that holds the possibility of bringing us together across difference. By sharing honestly, you help bring the work into existence. without you, it doesn’t exist.

it is a practice in humanizing the other: an invitation to speak from behind the safety of anonymity, to step outside expectations, and to allow others to witness the shared humanity that persists beneath identity, ideology, and difference.
